Opening up this Blawg’s garage door for a peek at the clutter
Regular readers may have heard me periodically bemoaning how I just fall further and further behind in my blawging, and have a vast backlog of unposted but interesting stuff.
Well, now I have a new solution, thanks to Bloglines.com.
I’ve been using Bloglines as a newsreader and to keep the “blogroll” on this blawg for a few weeks now, and come to like it quite well.
Now I’ve discovered I can maintain a “clipblog” there that can be made public.
So instead of keeping my backlog hidden as Blogger “drafts” that only I can see, now I can — and will — open it to the blogosphere for all to see.
I will continue to select items from the “clipblog” to edit, combine with other links, and add words of wisdom for posting on this blawg at my regular pace, but those who thirst for more can mosey over to http://www.bloglines.com/blog/georgel314 and view the material in the raw, in the form of the original RSS feed headlines with links.
Consider it the direct-from-the warehouse, no-middleman approach, and bookmark it if you like it.
