Real Estate Agent Simulation: Try It For Free!

If you like the simulation approach to employee selection, this website provides an interesting example of such an approach. Currently, you can try a short sample for free of this simulation.

The website provides a few sample “frames,” as well as a sample of the cognitive ability and personality test that is part of the real estate. According to this website, the simulation has the applicant “taken through the entire sales cycle from building rapport to closing and must demonstrate their ability to handle objections, negotiate price, understand client needs, deal with personality clashes, and even handle periodic rejection.” After these tests are completed, a report can be generated, that provides information on the suitability of the candidate for this kind of work.

While pricing varies in terms of quantity and arrangement, it costs under $50 to test one applicant.

I did not locate any information on validity and disparate impact and related issues, but perhaps one needs to contact the company for such information.
