BlawgThink 2005

I’ll be headed to Chicago Thursday to attend BlawgThink 2005. The organizers’ hopes for this innovative conference — to be held at the Catalyst Ranch, billed as “Chicago’s most creative meeting and events space,” [I believe it -- check it out] — are described by them here: Why is BlawgThink important?

I’m getting very excited about it, as is my daughter Emily, who will drive up with me, go on two college visits, and spend a day on her own in the big city.

After hobnobbing, eating, drinking, and brainstorming with all these folks who are deeply involved in and/or interested in blogging, I’m sure I will return supercharged to continue to develop and improve what I’ve been doing here. Perhaps entirely new projects will be born. No doubt great networking contacts and friendships will be born.

There may or may not be a blogging hiatus while I’m gone. With wireless available everywhere, I just may be breathlessly reporting the coolest ideas from each day’s activities.
