Monster Offers Wealth of Job-Related Content

Many web sites (and blogs) are fairly shallow. There isn’t that much meaty content that doesn’t simply recycle the work of others.

Then there are the exceptional sites (and blogs) that are impressive, if not mind-boggling, in their depth and originality.

Monster has been hard at work developing a site and a related blog that both fall in the latter category.

I made this discovery recently because I was pleased to see that the Monster Blog had picked up our new url and put it at the top of a very short blogroll, sending significant new traffic here. I hope we can live up to the honor this selection represents.

As would be expected of a leader in the online career world, Monster is obviously putting serious time, effort, and money into producing quality original online content, with a team of six writers.

In addition to the blog, which seems to run about one post a weekday, the original content is centralized in a Career Advice page, which links to a large assortment of original, practically- oriented writing, such as:

Just a few examples. Whether you’re a student, job-seeker, or employer, there’s likely to be something here for you.

See Monster Blog and Monster Career Advice, each with its own RSS feed.

For additional current information, don’t forget to visit our “Recent Reading” page, a blog-within-a-blog.
