New Address, New Look, New Ideas

Welcome to Version 2.0 of George’s Employment Blawg! After careful consideration, we have decided to take this blawg to the “next level” and have made (and are making) many changes to enhance the reader experience.

In addition to the shiny new custom domain name, the blawg is being migrated to a WordPress platform, which means the addition of categories and an internal search function. It will also enable easier enhancements in the future, as the WordPress software remains under development.

Long-time readers don’t despair: while the Blogspot archives are being migrated to the new location, all of the old links will remain functional.

Other enhancements include a new, easier-to-navigate three-column site layout and features such as integration with a dynamic bookmark manager to maintain continuous fresh and interesting content. (Or so we hope, anyway.)

In addition, a new feature, WorkWorld Week, will be replacing the HR/Employment Blogosphere Roundups. Further information will be posted soon.

We’ll be rolling out the news and enhancements over the next few weeks. We will also be soliciting advertisements from interested parties. For more information on premium and regular advertisement rates, contact George.
