The Ten Commandments of Talent Management

Thanks to interbiznet.com, we have a list of the top ten “best suggestions” for talent management. Before we begin, however, you might be wondering what talent management even means; a good definition is:

A conscious, deliberate approach undertaken to attract, develop and retain people with the aptitude and abilities to meet current and future organisational needs.

Given this definition, some of the ten suggestions are:

Successful Talent Management starts with the CEO;

Separate Talent Management from HR…Immediately (another anti-HR opinion?);

Design and Implement a Strategic Talent Plan ASAP;

Hire Great Recruiters;

Know the Corporate Business Plan - Intimately.
