Believe It Or Not: Amazing Interview Stories

I am convinced that ERExchange provides some really valuable material on recruiting, most of it quite serious and helpful, and occasionally I summarize one of their articles.

In today’s edition, they have published a delightful collection of different job interview stories, depicting a variety of human interest experiences. You will be amazed by some of them!

My favorite is the story of an applicant who applied to a hotel and blew it because of what he wrote in his essay explaining why he wanted to work there.

He said he had spent the last several years as a male escort/prostitute and used the hotel a great deal in that capacity and really liked the hotel. See how the interviewer responded to that kind of essay.

These are some interesting stories and you may enjoy sharing them with colleagues! Read here for the entire article!

Job hunters may find that these stories serve as job interview tips of the “what-not-to-do” type.
