Blawg Update
Postings here have slowed down for several reasons.
Since Michael’s a professor, I’ll call his relative scarcity on these pages a sabbatical. He has more pressing matters, but he’ll still write when the spirit moves him, I hope.
Personally, I’ve got many other blog-related projects in the works.
I have admitted — as in a 12 step program — that I am powerless over blogging (step 1), and having had a spiritual awakening, am now trying to carry the message of the greatness of blogging to the masses (step 12).
I’ve acknowledged that I’m called to be a blog evangelist, and, together with Marianne Richmond of Resonance Partnership, am devoting some of my time and attention to blog teaching and hopefully creating some exciting new blogs and helping others reach their full potential through blogging.
I’m spending some of my Employment Blawg time posting to the “Recent Reading” page, our blog-within-a-blog. This page renders a feed from a deli.cio.us account. While others may use similar-looking feeds to present fully automated, indiscrimate selections from various news sources, I am providing a carefully hand-picked and balanced selection. Only a small percentage of the news stories I review make it into this feed.
The display shows only the most recent items, but you can review my entire handpicked del.icio.us link collection here, using the “tag cloud” or search window to narrow it by topic.

Finally, this feed may soon be spun off as a separate blog.
