		<description>Basically, I think the applicant is interested in only one thing: that they have been rejected.

In the law school hiring rat race, we called these &quot;ding&quot; letters; personally I never cared what they said except that they were indeed dings, not offers.  The nicer they tried to be, the more ticked of I got.

I would definitely steer wide and clear of specific reasons and of anything about person hired.
