Michael’s Upcoming Speaking Engagement
On April 27, 2006, our own Michael Harris will speak on “Legal Landmines in I/O Psychology” at a luncheon sponsored by Gateway Industrial/Organizational Psychologists
More specifically:
Michael Harris of EASI Consulting and UM-SL will address recent developments in the legal area that pertain to I/O psychology, including new case decisions regarding cutoff scores, ADA and testing, recent developments in class action cases, and the OFCCP’s new definition of Internet applicant. Discussion will revolve around what I/O psychologists can do to avoid legal problems in recruiting, testing, compensation, and other HR systems.
If you’re in St. Louis and interested in attending, but aren’t a member of the organization, I bet Michael can get you in anyway!

Thanks, George. The presentation, by the way, will be a little broader than the original description and cover such things as implications for doing organizational surveys.
In addition, I will make my overheads available to interested readers.
