News Flash: Ken Lay Dead

In a rather surprising development, which has little or nothing to do with HR, I just noticed that Ken Lay has died. Ken Lay, 64, was founder and CEO of Enron, and was awaiting sentencing after being found guilty of conspiracy and fraud in a recent trial.

According to the newsreport I saw, Lay died of as of yet unknown causes. Read here for more information.

Update: Lay is now reported to have died of “a massive coronary.”
