Great Link Collection on 99 Business and Management Subjects, Including HR, Under “Leadership” Theme

The Internet and blogosphere have exploded around me like the Big Bang since I started blogging in May 2003.

As I’ve watched the exponential proliferation of information, my concern about one question has grown: Are we all helping improve access to information or are we just clogging the system’s arteries with redundant information of dubious quality?

With this concern always nagging me, it is very satisfying when I find the handiwork of a fellow web researcher who endeavors to create a condensed information resource on a subject — almost a mini-portal.

This afternoon I hit my StumbleUpon button and stumbled upon just such a resource:

• Chris Winfield’s “99 Ways to Become a Better Leader” at 10e20.

Chris not only way outdid all the “top ten” listmakers by an order of magnitude, compiling “99 ways”; he also gave us a link for each one.

Awesome learning resource, Chris.

There’s something here for everyone; just breeze through it and pick a few that catch your interest. Then bookmark it to come back when you have a spare minute or two.

I encourage my fellow bloggers to occasionally undertake such an “Internet Sherpa” compilation post. Such posts can be expected to echo well in the blogosphere and live long and happy lives in the search engines, bringing traffic for months, if not years. And you’ll be doing your part to fight “information overload.”
