who would be the best person to talk to or write so that military spouses could take off the whole 2 weeks of R&R with there husbands without takin 2 weeks vacation time or in jeopary of losing thier jobs in the civilian world?

My son is in the Army finishing his advanced training and
will be going to Korea. His older sister is terminally ill and we are going to lose her soon. My son was just home on leave for Christmas and it was very difficult to know he would not be seeing his sister again. Is there any leave
available for this.

My son is enlisted in the Army. I am told that the military leave act is ONLY for the guards or the reserves. Is this true? What about his Graduation or if he is being sent over sea’s?
Some one tell me where I can locate info about this.

Could “Making arrangements for childcare required due to the service member’s absence.” mean
that I (spouse of a Navy Reservist called to active duty)
would be covered if I elected to provide some of that childcare myself. Or does this mean I have to pay someone?
I am a WI state employee and could possibly be covered with some paid leave.
