Tons of Free Stuff Here !

Many say “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” (a maxim attributed to an interesting assortment of folks, including science fiction writer Robert A. Heinlein, Nobel Prize–winning economist Milton Friedman, and New York Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia). Contrary to the maxim, I’ve found that it’s sometimes possible to get something quite useful for free. Most recently, I discovered (and snapped up for my home office) goodies including like-new desklamps and HP printers. They were left on the “free table” of my daughter’s dorm as students were packing up to head home for summer break or after graduating.

Now, I’m pleased to say I’m offering a menu of free stuff to my readers. See the “widget” in the center column of this page, entitled “Free Resource Center,” for free business magazines, whitepapers, and newsletters. Consider it my “free table.”
