One particularly nice feature of the article is that it explains why an organization should have a blogging policy, including it is more fair to employees; it helps protects company assets, and for other good reasons.
What are some items that should appear in the blogging policy? According to the authors,
*the policy should explain the company rules regarding blogging during work hours;
*the policy should explain how the company defines “blogging” as well as some of the key features of a blog;
*the policy should explain the kinds of blogging conduct that may result in disciplinary action, such as disclosing trade secrets, posting unauthorized copyright material, and so forth.
