I’m away but I haven’t disappeared…..
After all of that fanfare, you may be wondering what happened to me (Michael Harris). As it turns out, I went away on some travel….I find it hard to write on-line, away from all of my equipment.
In his introduction to me, George hinted at my providing a summary of the judge’s opinion in the Wal-Mart case. Stay tuned; I anticipate completing this by July 12!
Future activities in this regard include preparing a presentation for submission to the Society for I/O Psychologists on the Wal-Mart case. I’m also doing a presentation at the Arizona Society for HRM in September on preparing the workforce for global interactions.
Right now, though, I’m in southern New Jersey. Just got here, so its too early to say much about what I’ve seen. Among other activities, however, I will be touring some in New York City, including Brooklyn and Manhattan. How about that for cross-cultural activity?
Hey, I’ve invited George to be a guest speaker in my summer HRM class. He eagerly accepted! This should be very neat — the students might actually learn something!
