Labor law quiz and exam time
We have discovered that our readers seemingly love quizzes.
Well, this morning I set about on Google looking for a quiz on traditional labor law (NLRA) issues.
Here’s what I found:
First, try this “Workplace Unionization Quiz.” A few of the questions are quite tricky (that’s my lame rationalization for getting only an 88%)
Got all that down? Now you’re ready to pretend you’re in law school. This is a real sample law school labor law exam from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
I have to admit that just reading it brings back some tense memories, although I always did quite well on these things.
Guess what? Just like in law school and in real life, the correct answers are not provided.
One of the keys is simply doing a good job of “issue-spotting” — identifying all the legal problems presented.
While I’m not about to sit down and compose a full answer (this is, after all, a THREE hour exam), if anyone wants to point out a particular issue of interest using the “comments” feature or by personal email, I will make an effort to come up with an answer. Or submit an answer and I’ll grade it!
