Where’s George?

Anybody notice that Michael’s been holding down the fort and I haven’t posted for a while?

Didn’t think so, but just in case you were wondering, I’ve been off on a short vacation — a cruise to the Bahamas with the whole family.

Had a great time, put on a few pounds, sunburned a bit, and really enjoyed my new toy — a Minolta Maxxum 5D digital SLR. I skipped several generations of camera technology, hopping from a tried-and-true 1970′s Minolta manual film camera directly into the digital era.

I took a few hundred pix; one is at left here, from a Freeport beach.

Anyway, it’s now back to work, and I’m gearing up to start posting again, while catching up on the “recent reading” feature.
